Convylo or Chatbase?
Chatbase is the closest thing to what Convylo does: a bot answering from your own documents. Three things differ — where the data is kept, how the bot is built, and what happens when it does not know the answer.
| What is being compared | Convylo | Chatbase |
|---|---|---|
| Price per month | €0 / €29 / €99 / €299 | Free; Hobby $32; Standard $120 |
| Is the AI billed separately | No — included in the plan's messages | Yes — every message spends a credit |
| Lithuanian | First language, not a translation | The model answers, the interface is English |
| Where the data is kept | On EU servers | AWS, United States |
| How the assistant is built | By talking — you describe it, it assembles | You upload documents and the bot answers from them |
| What else is included | The assistant, and nothing else | The bot; Help Desk on the dearer plan |

When Convylo is the right one
- The data has to stay in the EU — for the customer's sake, not for a line on a price list.
- You would rather say what changed than maintain a folder of documents.
- An unanswered question has to become a contact rather than disappear.
When to choose Chatbase
- You need many separate bots for different projects.
- You are comfortable with the API and want to wire the bot in yourself.
- It does not matter to you that the data sits in the United States.
